First Class Concessions, Inc., has been selected to provide food & beverage services at the new Airline Terminal.
M/E, Inc., has been selected to provide news and gift services.
Food and beverages will be available in two locations. The pre-security location will feature a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf counter and adjacent seating with views of the airside courtyard.
A second Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and the Costa Terrazo Restaurant and Tapas Bar will be located upstairs, post-security, overlooking the lobby.
Santa Barbara News and Gifts will continue to provide magazines, newspapers, books, and sundries. Santa Barbara News and Gifts is owned by M/E, Inc., a local firm, which has managed the Airport gift shop since 1977. The gift shop will also provide a variety of traveler’s aids and Santa Barbara souvenirs.
The restaurant and gift shop locations will be designed to resemble a typical Santa Barbara store front, in keeping with the overall Spanish Colonial Revival architecture of the building. The intent is to provide amenities that allow passengers to relax in an atmosphere similar to a paseo (a public place or path designed for walking), before boarding their flight.
